Premium Series

The Plus Series conveyors meet the food industry’s standard for hygienic design and daily sanitation wash downs, combining function, value, and cleanability. Built with food- grade materials and a stainless steel IP69K- rated gear reducer and motor, they’re ideal for handling low-moisture or USDA-regulated foods in direct contact or open packaging.

This conveyor meets and exceeds industry standards with the highest level of sanitary design and construction, ensuring daily sanitation down to a microbiological level. It’s perfectly suited for handling high-moisture and ready- to-eat (RTE) foods in direct contact.

The Standard Series conveyors feature a sanitary design that balances wash down capability with affordability, using food-grade materials and a stainless steel IP69K-rated gear reducer and motor. It’s ideal for food plants where conveyors aren’t in direct contact with food but still require regular wash downs.

Merge Conveyors & Combiner Conveyors are used to arrange products flowing from multiple infeed lines of conveyor. Typically, the merging process is needed to combine product from upstream equipment with multiple lines, into a single stream of product on a single conveyor.

Manual pack-off stations are typically a two or three-tier conveyor assemblies designed for an operator to pick and place product/ package into a cartoned case.

Multi-strand conveyors are used for a variety of reasons, and have multiple material options (plastic, sideflexing modular or polycord, flexible round belting), the multi-strand conveyor can also be used for direct product conveyance (loose product to fall into a catch pan).

Commonly used for transfer of sensitive food products (processed meat/cheese, pizza topping), polycord conveyors are available in multiple styles to suit all applications. Multi-strand belting allows for seamless transfer between sliders and scales. FDA approved, this conveyor is designed for sanitation

SANITARY

Metering systems are designed to create a minimal pitch of product that are being transported in a random pattern. There are numerous ways product can be metered. The most common way is a brake/meter conveyor system (2 conveyors).

Retractable conveyors can be pneumatically or servo actuated. The nosebar of the conveyor is designed to retract and extend to allow for product to be transferred to two different positions.

Metal belt curves are more expensive than other curves, but are a great solution in these applications. Metal Belt Curves can be a stand alone curve, or part of a conveyor that tangents upstream/ downstream.

High Speed Turners will rotate packages, cartons or cases in line with the conveyor without interruption of flow. Product turners are achieved by having two conveyors (on independent drives) running parallel to each other with minimum gap between each other.

Also known as a micropitch, tight transfer conveyors use a specialized belt designed for tight transfers. Available in either plastic modular belting or stainless steel mesh, this sanitary product provides a strong solution for food

A new standard in sanitary applications, solid urethane belt conveyors offer many advantages to other sanitary basic transport products, Key features include high operational efficiency, reliability, predictable drive performance, and improved yield.

Offering multiple options, NCC offers a wide variety of spiral conveyors. These conveyors transport product low-to-high or high- to-low. Typically a non-sanitary product, our stainless steel spiral conveyors are an excellent washdown solution.

Storeveyors are used to regulate a bulk flow of product or for accumulation. They can hold a large volume of product on the infeed side, and then provide a discharge of product as downstream processes require by means of a vibratory conveyor or an indexing discharge conveyor.

Vibratory conveyors are simple, rugged, vibrating machines designed to handle a variety of bulk materials. The conveyors are available in single-mass and two-mass vibrating systems excited by a motor- driven eccentric shaft.

An efficient means of moving bulk materials, trough conveyors use a urethane-style belt to fully contain the load of material without using a guide rail. Widely used for food processing and package handling, trough conveyors are built for light to medium-capacity systems.

Spreader conveyors are typically used to spread, or separate product, but can be used to converge product. Spreader conveyors are used in applications for vision systems for inspection and robotic pick and place, enrobing systems (product coating), cooling applications, or to separate product for operator handling.

Stackers are designed to transport a single or multiple lane of product and stack product based on count or height. Stackers reduces labor as well as the incidence of repetitive motion injuries. Stackers are built with a robust, stainless steel frame that will interface with upstream equipment and downstream packaging equipment.

ARB Diverters divert products accurately without complex controls and moving parts. ARB diverters can replace pop up transfers, transfer tables, transfer tables.

ARB conveyors can be used for a variety of applications and have many options. Basic design involves a series of rollers molded into the plastic belt module. When the rollers are contacted by the product or the carrier bed product movement is achieved.

ARB Conveyors are used for product alignment and orientation. Justifying product to one side of a conveyor, rotating cases 90 -180 degrees and aligning product into lanes can all be done on ARB Conveyors.

Virtual Pocket Conveyors are used for high speed merges. A “virtual pocket” is assigned to each lane feeding the takeaway. The pocket is established with an encoder. Pocket availability is tracked for available merges.

Gravity roller conveyor is a non-powered conveyor for use with cartons, cases, plastic totes, pallets or other goods. They are used to transport items either on a level or pitched line. Products must have a flat bottom for best results - the rule of thumb is that the product should contact 3 rollers at all times for smooth movement.

ARB sorters are capable of sorting bi-directionally, at 30 degrees, and at 90 degrees. Because of the unique capabilities of ARB technology, sorting systems effectively handle a wide range of products within a small footprint.

There are many types of case handling conveyors including belt driven, lineshaft driven and powered roller. The correct selection of drive style is based on the application. Case conveyors can be used for straight transportation from point A to point B. Case conveyors can also be used for accumulation.

Powered roller conveyors handle everything from cartons to pallets and large totes. Roller size and drive type vary by application, with diameters from 1-⅜” to 3” and multiple drive options (flat belts, v-belts, chains, cables, line shafts, etc.). Suitable for both transportation and accumulation.

Critical for maintaining product orientation, radius conveyors allow for a production line’s process flow to change directions. Using a specially designed style of food-grade belting, radius conveyors are engineered to contain the belt through the curves. Our line of radius conveyors can be manufactured to follow any path/angle.

For a versatile conveyor that works well with a variety of applications, consider fabric belt conveyors. Driven by pulley (using a tensioned belt), the fabric belt is supported by a frame. Relatively inexpensive and highly configurable, the fabric belt conveyor comes with a multitude of options.

Drag chain conveyors move pallets or containers with irregular bottoms. Traditional drag chains use 2-3 roller chains but lack sanitary design. The system shown uses multiple strand plastic modular belts for improved sanitation. Drag chain conveyors aren’t built for accumulation and require separate drive zones for product buildup.

When precision is a key requirement, timing belt conveyors (dual or multi-strand) convey pallets for integration with robotics. These conveyors can be designed for simple packaged or carton transport. Timing belt conveyors typically use a servo drive or encoder.

Servo Conveyors are designed for precision control of product, cartons or cases. Servo conveyors can help correct a product pitch or help with aligning two independent lanes with accuracy.

For required elevation changes, inclined conveyors are your answer. Available in either stainless steel or modular plastic, the conveyor’s food grade flexible belts are available in a variety of materials/ characteristics to best fit your specific product.

A strong solution across all product types, the plastic modular belt conveyor is the industry standard for sanitary applications. For 30 years, NCC’s sanitary designs have evolved to provide customers with conveyors oriented towards food-safety standards. Combined with our extensive selection of food grade plastic belting
